A downloadable project
This document aims for the study of artificial intelligence and, above everything else, its impact on a variety of different fields, such us its importance on the global daily life, with voice recognition devices; the technology’s mystification and how its development will be possible in the future; and about the problems this future might bring.
Subjects such as voice recognition devices, which are the most extended use for AI nowadays, will be treated talking about devices like Google Assistant, Siri or Alexa and also technology like Deep Learning. These advances bring with them a mystification of the technology. A whole section has been dedicated to this mystification, studying the possibilities of said technology with the help of the insight of researchers such as Juan Gustavo Corvalán, David Salinas Flores and even Elon Musk. The possible good and bad aspects that artificial intelligence may bring in the future would also be a matter of discussion. Among them, the benefits it might bring to business tasks and the problems there may also appear at the time of including AI into the labor market, like substituting humans at the workplace.
In order to improve the quality of information, an interview with the expert Alvaro San Juan will also be presented, who will talk about his relationship with this technology and will give his insight on the matters discussed in this document. Said document would be elaborated by Interactive Products Design students, who will present, with the aid of sources such as Google Scholar and based on their knowledge, their conclusions about this very interesting subject.
